Bitcoin which is the first practical application of blockchain technology uses a public blockchain network, i.e all the transactions that have happened in this network are available in public and can be accessible by anyone in the world. You can do it yourself by visiting this website – Block explorer . But not all blockchain networks are open to public. Some of them are private i.e the data is visible only to a closed group of people while others may be a partly public. In this module you will get an introduction to the different types of blockchains.
